Dr Paul Bouanchaud

Research Manager

Dr Paul Bouanchaud joined the ACTwatch team in spring 2016, and his work focuses on managing a team working on the analysis and reporting of outlet survey data from the sub-Saharan region. He is also leading a project to make ACTwatch data available publicly through an online portal. Paul is a researcher with almost 10 years’ experience, having conducted primary fieldwork in China, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, and the UK. He has also managed a range of research projects across sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Paul holds a PhD in demography from the London School of Economics, and has an academic background in anthropology, social research methods, and medicine.
