Ms Nikki Charman

Project Director

Nikki Charman has more than 20 years of experience in supporting health system strengthening in developing countries with a focus on the private sector. Since 2000, she has worked for PSI both as an advisor to programs and directly implementing interventions to improve the quality of health service provision and demand for services in the areas of family planning, reproductive health and child survival. Nikki spearheaded PSI’s technical assistance in developing networks of private providers in Myanmar, Pakistan, Nepal and more recently, has provided support globally for health services marketing. Prior to PSI, she worked for Marie Stopes International both in the field and in headquarters on planning, strategy and monitoring & evaluation.

Nikki is currently based in Kenya as part of the senior management team of PSI's Malaria & Child Survival Department from where she provides strategic leadership as the Project Director for ACTwatch and the UNITAID RDT Private Sector projects.
