The border area between Thailand and Cambodia is of interest because this is the area from which global antimalarial drug resistance has originated over the past 30 years, and where the first data on ACT resistance has emerged. In 2016, Thailand implemented the first outlet survey using ACTwatch study methodology. The results from this survey will contribute important data to resistance monitoring efforts in the country.
Stay tuned for the results from the 2016 outlet survey!
